Initial Oral Examination

Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. If treatment is indicated, we will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the cephalometric x-ray which aids in diagnosis for growth and development and jaw relationships. We will also take record models or molds of the patient's teeth so as to aid in the treatment planning process.
